This pioneering facilitator training in Joanna Macy’s Work That Reconnects emerges from the urgent need to respond creatively to the multiple crises of our time. Meeting these challenges calls for a profound change of consciousness, a deepening of socio-ecological awareness, and a renewed sense of service.
The Work That Reconnects Facilitator Training (WTR-T) seeks to awaken and strengthen the vocation of service that lives within the human heart, nurturing a process of personal transformation and community regeneration. Through this process of reconnection, collaborative and regenerative action can emerge from a renewed vision of the world, one increasingly free from the addictive patterns of thought and behavior that contribute to the destruction of the Earth.
By the end of the training, participants will have explored in depth the philosophical, paradigmatic, and practical foundations of the Work That Reconnects (WTR), while developing the understanding and skills needed to bring this work into their own communities. In this way, the training cultivates the inner and practical foundations for becoming an agent of transformative change and a skilled facilitator of the Work That Reconnects.
The WTR-T is offered through Work That Reconnects Latin America (WTR Latino), a sister initiative of Bioalchemy Institute dedicated to bringing the WTR to Spanish-speaking communities across the Americas and beyond, helping reclaim their wild and true place within the Earthly web of life. Rooted in a shared commitment to personal and planetary transformation, Bioalkimia and WTR Latino remain distinct but closely connected projects.
The training is currently offered only in Spanish.
