Adrián Villaseñor Galarza, PhD

Founder and director of the Bioalchemy Institute & seed originator of the Work That Reconnects Latin America, Associate Professor at the California Institute of Integral Studies, and Adjunct Professor at Naropa University and Antioch University.

I’m an integral ecopsychologist, international facilitator, ritualist, author, and contemplative practitioner whose work weaves together the psycho-spiritual study of the Earth-human relation, animist principles, and contemplative wisdom.

I’ve been engaged in transformative education for close to 20 years and I’ve worked individually for the past 10 years through a contemplative, eco-systemic, animistic, and transpersonal lens. I’m the author of a handful of books and translator into Spanish of Joanna Macy’s seminal book on eco-spirituality, resilience, group work and systems thinking. The lineages of beauty, wisdom, and compassion that I’ve honored since my teens serve as the guiding force behind my yearning for personal transformation and socio-ecological viability. My work is considered a Latin American referent when it comes to Nature Reconnection, Ecopsychologies, and Earth-based Spirituality. For more information, visit my personal website.

Felipe Landaeta Farizo, PhD

I feel called to contribute with spaces for growth and personal transformation, which impact human relationships and, ultimately, our relationship with the natural world.

I studied psychology, and have been working as a professor at Universidad Adolfo Ibáñez (Chile) since 2009. I’ve specialized in transpersonal psychology and I have a particular interest in somatic-experiential therapeutic methods such as Focusing, Holotropic Breathwork, Systemic Constellations, as well as trauma-informed work based on the body.

I have a special interest in non-ordinary states of consciousness and their therapeutic potential. I’ve dedicated myself in this area in both research and practice. I’ve mantained a psychotherapeutic private practice since 2009, and have facilitated Holotropic Breathwork sessions since 2010. In 2019, I directed the study “The Impact of Joanna Macy’s The Work That Reconnects.

Cinthia Pérez del Río

My life and service have always been dedicated to caring for the Earth, witnessing all the changes inside and outside the heart, the same heart that beats with the center of the cosmos.

Eco-somatic doula, guardian of birth-death and activist, student of community gerontology. Several years ago I learned about the methodology and experience of the Work That Reconnects, which changed my way of perceiving, embracing, and accompanying community processes from a different place.

My intention is to oversee the flourishing of all species in life, to accompany and continue to honor my lineage.

Maria Julieta Salvi

I have a deep interest in the development of consciousness in service of caring for nature and life on Earth. I trained as a Psychosomatic Counselor, investigating the connection between body, mind, and our spiritual dimension. This led me to the practice and deep study of Yoga, Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology, and the idea of InterBeing. I have practiced and taught Yoga for 20 years, with a special interest in the relationship between our internal and external nature.

I investigate the worldview of the native American peoples who put me in contact with the ancestral knowledge of our territory. I am passionate about Permaculture and Regeneration. I completed graduate degrees in Cultural Diversity and Human Rights with specialization in Indigenous Peoples and the Sustainability Design training with Gaia Education.

I studied Sustainable Tourism Management and lead nature-immersion trips to cultivate the awakening of consciousness and love for the Earth, delving into Deep Ecology and the Work That Reconnects, feeling great resonance and inspiration to train myself and sow this schools in Argentina.

Nuria Gironés González
