Psychology, Nature & Consciousness

Certificate 2022

March 12 to December 21, 2022

Depending on interest, the course is most likely to be offered in Spanish. Connect with us for further details.

Composed of 4 courses and a final project, our Psychology, Nature, Consciousness Certificate is rooted in a deep and transdisciplinary educational model and a transformative and revealing experiential dimension that brings us closer to what’s essential–a life full of meaning and consciousness development.

Being a pioneer in the Spanish-speaking world, the Certificate brings together different teachings informed by an expanded psychology (systemic, transpersonal, integral, ecological), some schools of deep ecological thought, and various spiritual traditions.

This integration results in a fresh and relevant proposal that proposes self-knowledge and service as cornerstones of the path of consciousness development, and of a more harmonious and fulfilling life.

The “psychology-nature-consciousness” triad reveals various potentialities of the human condition. When valued and nurtured throughout the Certificate, such potentialities sprout like seedlings in fertile soil following the call of the new day, awakening to the real essence of the world.

What will you learn?

Reflect alongside a community of practice about your latent potentialities in service of psycho-emotional health, eco-social service, and self-realization.

Actively contribute to your personal development in alignment with the broader movements of the communities you belong to, including the Earth itself.

Innovative concepts, models, and understandings of human processes based on an broad, inclusive, and transdisciplinary perspective.

A comprehensive look at the quality of our relation to nature, processes of healing and disease, non-ordinary states of consciousness, and a transgenerational approach.

Tools and allies to deepen your journey of self-exploration, which you can incorporate into your counseling or therapeutic service, or other type of healing modalities you may be interested in.

Structure

The certificate is composed of 4 courses and a final project. Two of the courses have an approximate duration of 6 weeks, whereas the other two courses are offered in an intensive format over the weekends. The final project can take a variety of forms, including an essay, an audiovisual project, an artistic performance, or others.

Systemic Constellations & Shamanisms

Through systemic and shamanic explorations we will rediscover the compassionate flow at the heart of our relations. This flow releases the wise energy that leads us on the path of our destiny in harmony with the movements of the Great Soul.

Grofian Transpersonal Psychology

Given the growing interest on the healing potential of psychedelics, it is timely to study the work of Dr. Stanislav Grof, his role in the beginnings of Transpersonal Psychology, the holotropic perspective, the genesis of psychopathology and its implications for psychotherapy.

Compassion-Based Resilience Training (CBRT)

Nalanda Institute’s Compassion-Based Resilience Training (CBRT) is a complete, evidence-based method of training the resilience of mind, heart, and body we need to sustain lives of well-being, engagement and purpose in our interdependent world.

Integral Ecopsychology

How to foster a sense of intimate belonging to the Earth while honoring the multiple dimensions of self and the world? Inspired by the ancient idea of the similarity between the personal and the cosmic, the micro and the macro, we will explore pathways of healing, wellbeing, and flourishing that spring forth from the sacred dimension of nature.

Final Project

The final project can take a variety of forms, including an essay, an audiovisual project, an artistic representation or others, in which the lessons and awakenings experienced throughout the certificate are placed in service of the evolution of personal and collective consciousness.
