Integral Ecopsychology

Online Course – Intensive

September 3, 10, 11, 2022

Depending on interest, the course is most likely to be offered in Spanish. Connect with us for further details.

How to foster a sense of intimate belonging to the Earth while honoring the multiple dimensions of self and the world? Inspired by the ancient idea of the similarity between the personal and the cosmic, the micro and the macro, we will explore pathways of healing, wellbeing, and flourishing that spring forth from the sacred dimension of nature.

By examining the multidimensional relation between humana and Earth, an integral ecopsychology helps us revalue the role and function of our species within the global ecosystem as we shed light on the fertile interdependence between the psyche, Earth, and the sacred. The planet itself and its biorhythms are experienced as the vibrant source of our sustenance, wellbeing, and wholeness.

We’ll Explore

  • The project of ecopsychology from a broad and inclusive perspective as a framework for personal and planetary healing.
  • The confluence and dialogue between spirituality and the wild as an urgent historical and collective expression of a deep evolutionary impulse of humanity.
  • An ecopsychological, animist, and depth psychological understanding of wellbeing, inspiration, and hope.
  • The reformulation of the current moment of eco-social crisis as an opportunity for healing, psycho-spiritual awakening, and ecosystemic viability.

In its intensive format, the course is composed of 3 live classes distributed over two weekends and 1 group counseling session, in which we’ll combine presentations , dialogue, meditations and ecopsychological explorations.

3 classes of 4 hours, two each weekend. When possible, the sessions will be recorded for later use.

1 group counseling session, used for personal and group processing related to the course materials.
